What to expect during a massage:

With life as busy as it is, massage is a not a luxury - it's a necessity.
Take the time out to take care of you!

Massage should be a relaxing experience, and your massage therapist wants you to get the most out of it. So feel free to ask what ever questions you might have.

Here are of the few most common questions/concerns:

Q:  "Will oil be used on me?"
A:  Usually, yes.  Some therapists prefer oils to a cream, as they are a great way to moisturize the skin.  Ask if you prefer one over the other.

Q:  "Do I have to be naked?"
A:  No.  Your privacy is highly respected. You will be completly covered, and only the areas that will be exposed will be massaged. How much you do or do not want to wear is your decision.

Q:  "Is the room private?"
A:  Yes, you will be in a massage room.  Nobody can see you.

Q:  "But I don't like the way I look without clothes."
A:   Your therapist is professional and does not judge appearances.

Q:  "Do I tip?"
A:  You can if you would like. 15% to 20% is acceptable.

Q:  "How often should I get massaged?
A:  At least once a month is recomended.  If you have some stubburn knots you may want to get a few in a row, and then visit once a month for maintenance. Some people prefer every couple of weeks, others, once a year.
